Social Energy Renovations (SER)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Social Energy Renovations (SER)<\/strong> project stimulates sustainable restructuring in the third sector.<\/strong> SER intends to design, establish and implement an innovative de-risking financing mechanism that involves financing and technical standardization, project aggregation, social impact assessment and credit strengthening. Under the SER financing regime, an ESCO raises low-cost long-term capital through a financing instrument integrated with a de-risking mechanism. The investment is repaid through long-term service contracts signed between an ESCO and a building owner. Thanks to the SER, social enterprises have access to sustainable renovations at affordable prices, together with technical assistance, while investors have access to safe, high-impact investments, in line with ESG and impact investment criteria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SER is positioned to strengthen social enterprises and generate more than \u20ac200 million in clean energy investments over the course of 5 years post-project, translating into nearly 3,000 jobs, 893 tonnes of CO2 emissions saved and a massive social impact involving the mitigation of energy poverty, the improvement of social equality, health, well-being, productivity, financial literacy and overall social cohesion. As such, the benefits of SER go well beyond energy savings, stimulating an inclusive and green post-COVID-19 recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
